Abstract
Este artigo é um excerto da Monografia de Especialização apresentada ao Curso de Pós-Graduação "Lato Sensu" da UFSM - Áreas da Administração/Supervisão Escolar e Orientação Educacional e trata dos pressupostos e propósitos de uma educação holística como alternativa para a qualidade da formação de professores, com todas a potencialidades trabalhadas e desenvolvidas para poder enfrentar a complexa tarefa de educar outros sujeitos, numa sociedade em crescente transformação e num mercado de trabalho em constante mutação e complexidade, marcas da sociedade contemporânea.
