Abstract
UNESCO, society in general and the same educational system in its entirety and levels, recognize a great contribution to the culture of peace in education. The University, within the system of higher education, is no stranger to these socalled of educating for peace. Both global events, and recent studies of the current situation and future of the University, are examples of such concern. This study wants to show the different ways as peace can become present in the University, looking for point out something that someone said about the Catholic University, but that should be, and must be something own of all University by the very fact of being University. What was said was: “peace is located in the heart of the University”
