Abstract
The article discusses the features of state family policy in Ukraine and analyzed existing national documents in this area. Substantiated the need to improve the legal regulatory framework in the field of family policy. The author concludes that the state family policy should be reoriented with family problems at promoting family well-being. The task of the state - to create conditions for the implementation of family social functions related to the care and education of children, the formation of personality, caring for disabled parents. In this approach, the family and the state are partners mutually share risks and responsibilities for the welfare of a single family, and the state as a whole. Happy family are interested in preserving the economic, political, social, demographic stability of the state is less than that of the well-being and social and economic stability of Ukrainian families. A key factor in optimizing the state family policy should be the promotion of the society and the priority of family values and responsible parenthood
