Abstract
This paper is concerned about the religious conversion, as a global phenomenon, and its effects on family. Religious con version cases increase with those participate to new religious movements since 1970's. These movements introduce themselves as /I'alternative religions” and "alternative fam'ily units" This paper will summarize parents'reactions and other children those assume the attitude to convert. Finally it will emphasize the function of family in religious socialization. Because there is a strong relationship between family intermarriage and religious socialization
