Abstract
Estudo descritivo exploratório que tem por objetivo correlacionar o comportamento afetivo e interacional das enfermeiras durante a oferta de alimento ao recém-nascido por meio da técnica do copinho, em uma unidade neonatal, a um cuidado essencial de enfermagem, tendo em vista a vulnerabilidade desta clientela. Foram observadas, através de imagens, vinte enfermeiras durante a execução do referido procedimento, e os seus gestuais são discutidos à luz de referenciais da fisiologia humana, da interação e da psicologia infantil, dentre outros. Conclui-se que o cuidado de enfermagem dispensado ao recém-nascido, além de cientificamente complexo, requer, de quem o pratica, atenção, ternura e sensibilidade, elementos subjetivos implícitos no cuidado de enfermagem, que não devem ser creditados à maternagem, mas ao cuidado revestido de profissionalismo, responsabilidade, cientificidade e ética.

Fué observada, a través de imágenes, veinte enfermeras durante la ejecución del procedimiento citado, y sus gestos son discutidos a la luz de referencias de la fisiología humana, de la interacción y de la psicología infantil, entre otras. Concluyese que el cuidado de enfermería al recién nacido, además de científicamente complejo, demanda, de quien lo practica, atención, ternura y sensibilidad, elementos subjetivos implícitos en el cuidado de enfermería, que no se deben acreditar a la maternería, pero al cuidado revestido de profesionalismo, responsabilidad, cientificidad y ética.
Descriptive and exploratory study with the objective to correlate the affective and inter-rational behavior of the nurses during the offer of food to the new-born by the technique of the small glass, in a neonatal unit, to a essential nursing care, aiming the vulnerability of these clientele. Was observed, trough images, twenty nurses during the execution of the cited procedure, and their gestures are discussed based in referential of the human physiology, of the interaction and of the child psychology, among others. It was conclude that the nursing care give to the new-born, besides be scientifically complex, demands, from whom do it, attention, tenderness and sensitivity, subjective elements implicit in the nursing care, that not must be credited to the mother nursing, but to the care dressed in the professionalism, responsibility, scientificity and ethics.
