Abstract
Este artigo discute as lutas dos trabalhadores bancários contra as violentas intervenções da ditadura (1964-1985) nos organismos dos trabalhadores, em especial evidenciamos esse processo nos organismos sindicais bancários e na legislação anti-greve consubstanciada na famigerada Lei 4.330/64 e no Decreto 1.632/78, que dispõem sobre o direito e a proibição das greves. Apesar das perseguições e forte repressão à mobilização da classe trabalhadora, os movimentos paredistas, bem como outras formas de organização dos trabalhadores continuaram se realizando e tiveram um movimento ascensional ao longo do período estudado.
