Abstract
La partecipazione al commercio internazionale offre una serie di vantaggi per i paesi in via di sviluppo . Questo documento fornisce un'analisi empirica e della politica delle principali questioni in gioco. L' autore passa in rassegna le tendenze passate nello sviluppo delle esportazioni dei paesi , prima di presentare le prove sulle esportazioni e sulla crescita economica a seguito strategie alternative di sviluppo . Gli effetti di orientamento commercio sulla performance economica vengono poi valutati e le prospettive future per lo sviluppo delle esportazioni dei paesi vengono analizzati
Participation in international trade provides a variety of benefits to developing countries. This paper provides an empirical and policy analysis of the principal issues involved. The author reviews past trends in developing country exports, before presenting evidence on exports and on economic growth following alternative development strategies. The effects of trade orientation on economic performance are then evaluated and the future prospects for developing country exports are analysed.
