Abstract
A crítica tem apontado a narrativa A paixão segundo G.H. como representativa da síntese dos procedimentos artísticos de Clarice Lispector e o ápice de sua expressão literária. O procedimento da autora nesta obra apresenta uma ruptura com a forma tradicional do romance, na medida em que mescla traços característicos da prosa com elementos próprios da poesia, para relatar, em primeira pessoa, a viagem mítica da personagem G.H. em torno do espaço labiríntico de seu apartamento. Este artigo apresenta uma análise do substrato mítico presente em A paixão segundo G.H., fundamentada na teoria da narrativa poética formulada por Jean-Yves Tadié e Ralph Freedman.
