Abstract

The article describes characteristic features of situation of rural women of Ukraine during the terror-famine of 1932–1933. Defines the place and role of rural women in the population structure of the Ukrainian SSR. Analyzed the influence of the consequences of realization of main directions of state policy of theUSSRin social, economic and mental sphere to the situation women-representatives of different social strata of the Ukrainian rural population. Discloses a question about the split among rural women Ukrainian SSR into supporters and opponents of the Soviet state policy.
