Abstract
Business travel in the County of Timiş has recorded an increase in the year 2006compared to the year 2005 for the same period. There have been 4097 more arrivalsin the main tourist accommodation structures, and 4961 more stays over nightcompared to September 2005. Despite all this, the average duration of the sojournwas only 2.9 days compared to 2.6 days during the same period of time. We can seethat the longest duration of the sojourn was in the people lodged in tourist villas(7.9-11.9 days), as a result of surveillance activities, of the implementation of newtechnologies and of professional training by multinational companies that operate inthe County of Timiş.
