Abstract
A identidade profissional do jornalista frequentemente é construída a partir do pólo simbólico baseado no Jornalismo Informativo (objetividade, neutralidade e imparcialidade). As representações sociais do jornalista estão diretamente ligadas às condições objetivas de produção da notícia, ao fazer prático, às rotinas produtivas, à cultura noticiosa, aos constrangimentos organizacionais e ao relacionamento com as fontes de informação. Neste artigo, faremos um breve panorama de alguns tópicos que esboçam a identidade profissional do jornalista.
