Abstract
O modelo da "nova sociedade civil" é submetido a uma análise crítica mediante uma retomada dos fundamentos da idéia clássica de sociedade civil e um exame das conseqüências (infelizes) da ruptura com essa tradição conceitual.
The model of the "new civil society" is subjected to a critical analysis through a resumption of the foundations of the classical idea of civil society and an examination of the (unhappy) consequences of the breach with that conceptual tradition.
