Abstract
Scrotal leiomyosarcoma is a rare tumor arising from the dartos layer of the scrotum presenting as firm, rubbery, non-tender, irregular mass. To date about 37 cases of leiomyosarcoma of scrotum have so far been reported. Treatment involves wide surgical excision with tumor free margins. We report a case of scrotal leiomyosarcoma in a 48-year-old man which was treated by a wide surgical excision and follow up of 14 months showed no recurrence of tumor.
تُعد الساركوما العضلية الملساء الصفنية ورماً نادراً ينشأ من الطبقة السلخية (طبقة الدارتوس) لكيس الصفن، ويظهر على هيئة كتلة صلبة، مطاطية، غير مؤلمة، وغير منتظمة. وحتى الآن، تم الإبلاغ عن نحو 37 حالة من الساركوما العضلية الملساء في الصفن. ويتضمن العلاج الاستئصال الجراحي الواسع بحواف خالية من الورم. ونستعرض هنا حالة ساركوما عضلية ملساء صفنية لدى رجل يبلغ من العمر 48 عاماً، عُولجت بالاستئصال الجراحي الواسع، وأظهرت المتابعة لمدة 14 شهراً عدم وجود أي نكس للورم.
