Abstract
This work starts from the observation that the social conditions that support the educational bond have undergone major changes in recent decades, both for bringing issues that take the place of educators and for those situated as students. Holding us in psychoanalytic perspective and understanding that education and human subjectivity are given in a dimension of language, the authors discuss the status of the word in current educational practices, assuming that the effects of the weakening of the symbolic dimension in the educational bond have particular impact on the teenagers and appear in the form of problems of schooling and various manifestations of violence in schools.
