Abstract
RESUMO As narrativas que contribuíram para formular sentidos de pertencimento histórico, desde a antiguidade, já na poesia épica configuraram os arquétipos e regras que depois se estabeleceram na invenção do romance histórico. O modelo tradicional foi modificando-se à medida que os valores que o motivam se transformam, fazendo surgir o novo romance histórico, que desfaz a sacralização do herói histórico e propõe novas versões dos acontecimentos históricos tematizados. Neste ensaio, buscou-se estudar a evolução do modelo e como o novo romance histórico se configura em obras contemporâneas. Palavras-chave: narrativa histórica, romance contemporâneo, herói. ABSTRACT The narratives that helped shape history belonging senses, since antiquity, since the epic poetry have configured archetypes and rules which then established the invention of historical novel. The traditional model has been modified to the extent that the values that motivate are transformed, giving rise to new historical novel, which undoes the sacredness of the historical hero and proposes new versions of thematised historical events. In this trial, we sought to study the evolution of the model and how the new historical romance set in contemporary works. Keywords: historical narrative, contemporary novel, hero.
