Abstract
The agroecosystem (AES) is a concept to identify a unit of study at different hierarchical levels of primary production systems that sets the management of man for adaptation, modification and interaction with natural resources for food production and services requiring by society. This essay aims to make a reflection about the theories-approaches bases on the concept of agro-ecosystem from a dialectical approach and propose to use it to understand the agriculture.
