Abstract
Računovodstvena funkcija neophodna je za uspješno i efikasno poslovanje. Računovodstvene informacije osiguravaju podlogu za planiranje, odlučivanje i kontrolu, koje su namijenjene pojedincima i grupama unutar poslovnog subjekta, kao i eksternim korsnicima. Ovaj rad obuhvaća razvoj računovodstva od početaka ljudske pismenosti preko tradicionalnog pogleda na računovodstvo do modernog pogleda na računovodstveni informacijski sustav, također poznatog i kao integrirani računovodstveni
sustav.
