Abstract
En el presente trabajo se realiza el análisis de la seguridad para el diseño de cimentaciones superficiales en arenas por el método de los Estados Límites, a través de la aplicación de la Teoría de la Seguridad, llegando al reajuste de los coeficientes de seguridad establecidos en la Norma Cubana actual. En específico se valora el chequeo de la Presión Límite de Linealidad, logrando establecerse un análisis comparativo entre los resultados que se obtienen con los coeficientes de seguridad actuales y los propuestos en este trabajo, evidenciándose que con estos últimos se logran diseños más racionales
This paper deal with the design of shallow foundations on sands by using the Limit State Method. The Safety Theory is applied in order to obtain the safety coefficients needed for the design on friction soils. The Checkup of the Pressure Linear Limit is implemented, and the results obtained are compared with the safety coefficients of the Cuban Standard. The coefficients obtained in this work make possible more economic designs
