Abstract
Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a ocorrência dos pronomes pessoais em um corpus em português do Brasil (doravante PB), tentando verificar quais fatores influenciam a maior ocorrência de pronomes pessoais do caso reto nessa língua e sua preferência por, em muitos casos, deixar vazio o lugar das formas pronominais oblíquas. À luz da Gramática Sistêmico-Funcional, propor-se-ão algumas questões sobre quais elementos contribuem para uma maior ou menor ocorrência dos pronomes pessoais em PB.
