Abstract
<em>Tile imprecise use of terms</em> <em>such </em>as <em>money, savings, credit, and investment allow for various mix-ups. S</em>everal  <em>of them can </em>be <em>cleared up if </em>we <em>take into account that the most important part of the means of payment is that I'lhich serves a different purpose, </em>for <em>which there exists </em>a <em>demand, and I'lhich entails </em>a <em>cost </em>that <em>the community </em>pays <em>in different ways. Money, defined </em>as <em>such, is subject </em>to <em>the laws </em>of <em>supply and demand, and </em>to <em>the control </em>of its <em>volume especially because it is </em>a <em>good which is found in limited quantities. Therefore, money demand is the inverse of the income </em>velocity of <em>money.</em>
El uso impreciso de términos tales como dinero, ahorro, crédito e inversión da lugar a diversas confusiones, varias de ellas se despejan si se toma en cuenta que la porción más importante de los medias de pago es aquella que presta un servicio diferente, para el cual existe una demanda y que entraña un costo que la comunidad paga de diversas maneras. El dinero, así definido, está sujeto a  las leyes de la oferta y la demanda y al control de su volumen, en especial porque es un bien que se encuentra en cantidad limitada. Se aclara entonces que la demanda no es más que el inverso de la velocidad ingreso del dinero.
