Abstract
Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma revisão da literatura sobre o processo inicial da aprendizagem de leitura, sob a perspectiva cognitiva, buscando uma aproximação do processo de reconhecimento visual da palavra à luz dos fundamentos da Teoria dos sistemas dinâmicos. Inicialmente, serão apresentadas as ideias gerais da Teoria dos Sistemas Dinâmicos. Posteriormente, será realizada uma revisão de literatura sobre a leitura, em especial, em seu processo inicial de aprendizagem. Finalmente, será apresentado um ensaio analítico especulativo do processamento da leitura no sistema de reconhecimento visual à luz da Teoria dos Sistemas Dinâmicos.
