Abstract
Globalisation of the world economy that has been present at the world scene for more than two decades obviously creates a challenge for all those economies and enterprises that want to play an important role on the world economy scene in those relations. Such tendencies have led to the creation of global markets, global industries, global enerprises and global consumers. We are now witnessing the increased interdependence of the important parts of the world market and their availabiliyu to all those who are taking an active approach towards the changes that are faster and more profound than ever. The issue of how to take part in the challenge called globalisation and overall internationalisation of the world economy is an issue that all economies, i.e., their economic subjects are faced with. It is especially pronounced in the countries that have not had much international experience and Republika Srpska, which has yet to find its place on the world economy scene, is one of them. This work shall point to the problems and alternative ways of internationalisation of business operations thet might and should be useful to the Republika Srpska enterprises.
