Abstract
El alba es un motivo de la literatura mexicana particularmente del grupo de poetas que se denomina de Taller que ensayaron la tendencia neopopularista impulsada por los poetas españoles de la generación del 27. Este texto quiere dar cuenta de cómo el “alba” fue un término que los cohesionó como grupo desde 1931 hasta 1938, año en que sale de imprenta la revista Taller (1938-1941) de la que recibieron el nombre. Estas páginas atienden a los años (1931-1938) en que comienzan a relacionarse hasta constituirse propiamente como grupo a partir de la mencionada revista.
