Abstract
Para celebrar o quinto centenário do Descobrimento, à luz da expulsão dos judeus da Espanha, procuramos na antiga Sefarad – a pátria medieval dos hebreus que se instalaram na Península Ibérica – um sefardita de origem e de sangue que nos testemunhasse dupla fidelidade: à Hispânia e à sua fé. Devemos ao exílio o encontro de Leão Hebreu (1460/1465-1521) com o seu tradutor Garcilaso de la Vega, o Inca (1540-1615).
