Abstract
Se ha analizado el comportamiento del perfil de una playa natural con acumulación de hojas muertas de Posidonia oceanica (berma vegetal) ante la actuación de maquinaria de limpieza. Se realizaron dos perfiles, uno anterior a la retirada mecánica de la berma, y otro posterior a ésta, coincidiendo con un episodio de temporal de SW que incidió de forma directa sobre la playa desprotegida de la berma. El resultado obtenido fue una pérdida de superficie de playa y foredune.
