Abstract

Moléculas bioativas são provenientes da purificação de extratos naturais através de técnicas de separação, como cromatografia. O estudo fitoquimico dessas moléculas vem se desenvolvendo devido ao potencial farmacológico, representando dessa maneira uma alternativa as terapias convencionais. Essa prospecção tecnológica tem por objetivo revelar o panorama mundial das moléculas biotivas e suas aplicações. Para tal, foi realizada um levantamento em base de dados de patentes, INPI (Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial) e WIPO (Organização Mundial de Propriedade Intelectual). Assim, evidenciou-se que a China seguida dos EUA lideram o ranking de patentes depositadas.Também foi perceptivel a existência de um número grande de patentes em âmbito internacional em relação as registradas nacionalmente.
