Abstract
Com base em textos produzidos em situação escolar, o presente trabalho reflete sobre a concepção de texto que circula na escola e por ela é difundida, o que resulta, certamente, das condições de produção vivenciadas na sala de aula. Propõe-se, ainda, que essa concepção seja compreendida tanto através da relação que estabelece com abordagens desse objeto em estudos da linguagem como no que se refere à prática de produção de textos que se efetiva fora da sala de aula.
