Abstract

Em meio à radicalização e polarização que se configurava no início da década de 1960 no Brasil, várias estratégias foram elaboradas pelas diversas correntes políticas da época. Nessa conjuntura, este artigo pretende circunscrever as divergências de concepção e ação entre Leonel de Moura Brizola e seus aliados na contraposição aos vinculados a Luiz Carlos Prestes no Partido Comunista Brasileiro (PCB). Como foco à arregimentação promovida por Brizola de um movimento político intitulado Comandos Nacionalistas, também nomeados Grupos de Onze Companheiros.
