Abstract
As a subject matter, Physical Education is aimed at creating and developing learners' health and fitness physically. Many investigations indicate that physical fitness of learners taught by physical education teachers is better than those taught by other teachers (classroom teachers or religious education teachers). However, the learning-teaching process in physical education implemented currently in primary schools depends not only on the (performance of) physical education teacher, but also on the school principal. This article is a conceptual perspective highlighting the way in which the performance of physical education teacher can be optimalized to improve learners' physical fitness through cooperation with other individuals involved
