Abstract
Comenzamos hoy en nuestra sección de Especialidades Farmacéuticas, a hacer algunas consideraciones sobre ciertos medicamentos patentados o no, que se han difundido enormemente en el mercado no siempre con las suficientes garantías de eficacia verdadera en cuanto al efecto curativo que se busca, ni en cuanto al factor económico del  consumidor que gasta su dinero en una droga innocua cuando no perjudicial. No es nuestra intención hacer una campaña absurda y sistemática contra toda clase de especialidades farmacéuticas, pues como lo decíamos en nuestra nota editorial anterior, vemos en ellas una eficaz colaboración del médico cuando están científicamente preparadas y correctamente indicadas.
