Abstract
Few years after the advent of the Internet, began the first studies on dependence of the web. Episodes of isolation and self-exclusion from social life have been worrying scholars around the world, and the fact that the Internet promotes dependence has generated discussion. But it is possible that the online that encourages dependency and isolation of individuals? This is the central question that will guide the discussion of this paper. To answer, this study presents a cross between a requirement that users have to have contact with the Internet and attractive promotion of dependency on virtual spaces.
