Abstract
In this article, the first part analyses the most reliable definitions of «mobbing» in the psychological field including the causes and the consequences of the phenomenon, and depicting the typologies and classifications of different forms of mobbing. The second part deals with problems concerning the definitions and structures of mobbing, problems at a jurisprudential and normative level. It surveys the most important decisions of Italian Courts dealing with the implementation of European Community regulations and National rules, putting more emphasis on both contractual and extracontractual responsibility, of the burden of proof and compensation.
