masas dialogantes: el futuro del urbanismo social

En un momento de indefinición y de cambios vertiginosos, las estructuras metropolitanas pasadas que servían de contenedores sociales se han ido quedando obsoletas ante las nuevas necesidades de aquellos que las utilizan De ahí la obligada demanda de unas nuevas bases que transformen, adapten y reconquisten el crecimiento de las urbes. Las anteriores leyes urbanísticas para el correcto desarrollo de las ciudades medían, de forma más o menos precisa, los resultados con tiempo suficiente para readaptarse en el proceso -debido a la lentitud con la que todo se movía-. De esta manera, eran capaces de caminar en paralelo con los avances más pausados que la sociedad de entonces tenía. Los ritmos y tiempos han cambiado y la sociedad del mañana vive el ayer ante un urbanismo dinosaurio que cuesta mucho mover. Es momento de asistir a una nueva transformación o dejar que las ciudades sucumban ante otra forma de relación social aún por descubrir. Abstract: In a moment of uncertainty and of dizzying changes, the metropolitan structures of the past that served as social containers have become obsolete with the needs of those who use them... That’s why there’s a huge demand for new structure that transform, adapt and reconquer the growth of the cities. The previous planning laws for the correct development of the cities were not unflawed. They planned having enough time to be corrected and adjusted due to the latency in which everything was moving. In this way, they were amendable in parallel with advances slower than that society’s necessities. The rhythms and times have changed and the society of tomorrow lives through «the yesterday» facing an urban dinosaur that hardly moves. It is time to attend a new transformation or leave the cities vulnerable to another form of social structure yet to be discovered.
