Abstract
A 50 year old Asian born man presented with Cryptococcal meningitis due to Cryptococcus gattii. His CSF had no cells but abundant cryptococcal yeast on microscopy. A fluid level could be seen between the yeast and the CSF on MRI. Keywords: Cryptococcus, MRI, HIV, AIDS, C gattii, C neoformans
