Abstract
Este artigo aborda o tema do direito à maternidade e o seu exercício no ambiente de trabalho, sob o prisma do princípio da igualdade e à luz da sustentabilidade social com a finalidade de proporcionar às mulheres condições de igualdade com o homem para o ingresso e permanência no mercado de trabalho, bem como para garantir que as novas formas família possam exercer o direito à convivência com os filhos. Abstract:  This article addresses the issue of the right to maternity and its exercise in the workplace, under the prism of the principle of equality and in the light of social sustainability, in order to provide women with conditions of equality with men for entering and remaining in the workplace.
