Abstract
This study aims to explore the bodily dimension as central to the understanding of religious phenomena, especially the New Age universe - NE, in our interpretation of the body presents itself as a structure structured structuring that enables individuals to experience and interpret the world, this sense, the experience immersion and living practices of NE are essentially bodily experience. In this work we will seek to highlight the unique aspects of NE Brazil, especially in regard to the sacred dimension of ecstasy, mostly from the dialogue with the african-Brazilian religions.
