Abstract
The hypothesis supported by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence), according to which all forms of medical treatment and psychological need to comply with the production of "evidence" seems to evade the question of whether they can do it all. In some types of therapies in the field of mental health, from psychoanalysis to the Therapeutic Community, the application of these scientific standard methods raises a major question. In this article, the Author points out some of the issues in this regard.
