Abstract
La concurrencia actual de escenarios políticos y económicos ha permitido que América Latina pudiera adoptar una estrategia para afrontar la crisis internacional que difiere sustancialmente de aquélla adoptada en otras latitudes, manteniendo en el tiempo políticas contracíclicas e impulsando acuerdos regionales que apuntan a consolidar su posición frente a shocks externos emanados de la gran recesión. Este ensayo se enfoca sobre dicha estrategia, poniendo el zoom sobre el caso de América del Sur.
