Abstract
As relações das mulheres com as roupas e com a moda política e religiosa são analisadas neste texto por meio da trajetória da mãe e estilista Zuzu Angel. Neste intuito, enfocamos como a cultura das mulheres, da moda e da religião foram apropriadas e significadas pela personagem, para simbolizar e expressar, por intermédio da costura e do bordado, a dor e o luto, em razão da morte do filho pela ditadura militar.
