Abstract

Ao reconhecer que a produção da forma escolar moderna se efetivou por intermediações de forças distintas, investigamos iniciativas particulares de educação promovidas pela Igreja Católica. A partir das propagandas do Almanak Laemmert e de diversas informações do jornal O Apóstolo, foi possível localizar vestígios acerca da estrutura física, planos de estudos e valores propostos por alguns colégios particulares na Corte Imperial. O recorte cronológico abrange as décadas de 1870 e 1880, que compreendem a época da reforma Leôncio de Carvalho (1879). Também procuramos refletir acerca das relações estabelecidas entre o Estado Imperial e a Igreja Católica, e observar imbricações entre poderes públicos e privados, fenômeno que ultrapassa a sociedade oitocentista.

BETWEEN THE ALTAR AND THRONE: INITIATIVES OF SCHOOLING IN IMPERIAL CAPITAL

Abstract

Recognizing that adherence to the way modern school was made by different forces, we investigate private education initiatives promoted by the Catholic Church in the Imperial Court. From the advertisements that circulated Almanak Laemmert and O Apóstolo the newspaper was unable to locate information about the physical structure, curricula and amounts charged for those colleges. Establishing the chronological cut the 1870s and 1880s, which comprise the time of Reformation Leôncio de Carvalho (1879), we also reflect on the relationships established between the Imperial State and the Catholic Church an expression of the imbrications of public and private, a brandsociety in the nineteenth century.

ENTRE EL ALTAR Y EL TRONO: INICIATIVAS INSTRUCCIÓN EN IMPERIAL CAPITAL

Resumen

Reconociendo que la construcción de forma de la escuela moderna fue dado por el área de fuerzas distintas, investigar iniciativas privadas de educación promovidos por la Iglesia Católica en la Corte Imperial. Desde anuncios Almanak Laemmert y diversa información del diario Las huellas Apóstol se puede encontrar acerca de la estructura física, los programas y las cantidades cobradas por los colegios. El establecimiento de la cronología de la saturación de la década de 1870 y 1880, que comprenden la Reforma era de Leoncio de Carvalho (1879), también tratamos de reflexionar sobre las relaciones que se establecen entre el Estado Imperial y la Iglesia Católica, teniendo en cuenta la interacción entre público y privado, un fenómeno que va más allá de sociedad del siglo 19.

ENTRE L'AUTEL ET LE TRÔNE: INITIATIVES DE SCOLARISATION DANS LA CAPITALE DE L'EMPIRE BRÉSILIEN

Résumé

Reconnaissant que la construction de la forme scolaire moderne s'est produite par différentes entreprises des forces diverses, on avons cherché sur les initiatives de l'enseignement privé promus par l'Église catholique dans la Cour impériale. A partir des annonces de Almanak Laemmert et diverses informations du journal O Apóstolo on a pu trouver des traces sur la structure physique, les plans d'études et les valeurs recueillies par ces collèges. Instituant comme découpage chronologique les années 1870 et 1880, qui comprennent le temps de la réforme Leôncio de Carvalho (1879), visent également à réfléchir sur les relations établis entre l'État l'impériale et de l'Église catholique, notant des articulations entre public et privé, phénomène qui va au-delà de la société du 19e siècle.
