Abstract
Il contributo presenta gli esiti della ricerca condotta da Enrico Beretta e Andrea Migliardi sulle interdipendenze tra il settore culturale italiano e il sistema produttivo del Paese; oggetto di analisi sono, in particolare, le attività culturali a contenuto non industriale – arti visive, spettacolo dal vivo, patrimonio artistico-culturale. Partendo dal presupposto che tali risorse possono in vari modi concorrere allo sviluppo, gli Autori propongono una analisi delle dimensioni e caratteristiche del settore da un punto di vista economico e gestionale-amministrativo. Le considerazioni avanzate in merito allo sfruttamento di tale risorsa e gli interventi di policy proposti per una sua corretta valorizzazione offrono un significativo contributo sotto il profilo teorico-conoscitivo e applicativo al dibattito, estremamente attuale, sul valore e le potenzialità di sviluppo, anche economico, del settore.   The paper presents the output of the research conducted by Enrico Beretta and Andrea Migliardi on the connections between the Italian cultural sector and the Country’s economy; the study focuses, in particular, on non industrial cultural activities which include the visual and performing arts and the heritage. Acknowledging their contribution to development, the Authors analyse the dimensions and characteristics of the sector both from an economic and administrative/managerial perspective. Their remarks on the current level of exploitation of such resource and the suggested policy recommendations for its enhancement represent a valuable contribution to the current debate on the value and development potentials of the sector.
