Esta pesquisa investiga exercícios produzidos por crianças de 10 anos de idade, que cursam a turma E, do Ciclo II, (5º ano do Ensino Fundamental), da Escola Municipal Prof. Lourenço Ferreira Campos, da cidade de Goiânia. O objetivo foi analisar como essas crianças se relacionam com o passado e como percebem a mudança no tempo e no espaço, a partir de três imagens da cidade de Goiânia em diferentes épocas. Foram selecionadas três fotos, dos anos de 1937, 1942 e 2011, para a realização da tarefa em sala de aula. Considerou que a cidade Goiânia foi planejada e começou a ser construída na década de 1930, e no ano de 1942 ocorreu o batismo cultural com as festividades cívicas promovidas pelo poder público.
