Abstract
O presente artigo tem como objetivo a investigação sobre a utilização do corpo feminino como suporte, e/ou disparo de um discurso político no espaço das artes visuais. O artigo traz a importância da arte feminista nas mudanças que envolvem a crescente desconstrução em relação à representação idealizada do feminino como veículo de controle, de heteronormatividade. O presente trabalho abordaartistasque discutem diversas linguagens do campo das artes visuais e possuem um papel fundamental nessa desconstrução da representação do feminino, como: Jenny Saville, Hannah Hoch e Hannah Wilke. Todas trabalham, à sua maneira, com o papel da mulher na sociedade, questionando o espaço que lhes é dado e a utilização desse pelas mesmas.
