Abstract
O objetivo deste artigo é investigar as relações entre judaísmo, Medicina e literatura no romance A majestade do Xingu, do escritor judeu brasileiro Moacyr Scliar (1937-2011), obra publicada em 1997. Essas relações serão especificadas por meio do conceito judaico da relação médico-paciente no campo da ética médica judaica (uma área de aplicação da ética judaica). Na relação médico-paciente, em A majestade do Xingu, o uso literário da anamnese clínica, que gera uma illness narrative (KLEINMAN, 1988), é feito para problematizar a desumanização que ainda ocorre, infelizmente, nessa relação.
