Abstract
Este artigo tem como propósito verificar se o livro didático de Português (5ª a 8ª série) já está assimilando a concepção textual-discursiva da oralidade. Ao se estabelecer tal concepção, possibilita-se a demonstração de que fala e escrita confluem para o uso linguístico do indivíduo. Adotaram-se como corpus seis coleções didáticas de Português. Algumas dessas coleções são utilizadas na rede particular de ensino; outras, na rede pública.
