Abstract
En este trabajo estudiamos el «comunismo» platónico como un proyecto utópico que nunca se llevó a la práctica. Se analiza el mal denominado comunismo platónico y su forzada relación con el comunismo moderno, que desarrollamos en profundidad. Junto a ello, tomamos perspectivas de autores modernos y se intenta comparar el comunismo platónico con el marxismo, buscando su origen y su causa, así como sus aspectos socio-políticos. Además, tenemos en cuenta el contexto histórico en el que apareció: la Atenas del siglo V a. C.
