Abstract
Straipsnyje analizuojami pagrindinės XVIII a. rusų komedijos tarnaitės tipologinės ypatybės bei funkcijos. Teigiama, kad tarnaitės rusiškasis įvaizdis susiformavo įtakojant Vakarų teatro tradicijai (itališkoji commedia dell arte ir prancūziškoji klasicizmo komedija). Struktūriniai šio personažo bruožai ir funkcijos išryškėja A. Sumarokovo, N. Nikolevo, J. Kniažnino, Jekaterinos II, N. Emino, A. Majkovo, N. Seliavino, P. Baturino, I. Sokolovo, I. Krylovo bei kitų XVIII a. antros pusės autorių komedijose.
