Abstract
Este artículo busca analizar cuestiones relativas a la perversidad, crueldad y violencia en el cuento A Lei, de André Sant’Anna, que integra la antología intitulada “Contos Cruéis: as narrativas mais violentas da literatura brasileira contemporânea”, organizada por Rinaldo Fernandes. A través de la exposición “convulsiva” narrador personaje nos lleva a un mundo completamente violento al cual nos presenta gradualmente, y conforme el narrador nos “gana la confianza”, se revela por completo, pero siempre siendo consciente de que está en una narrativa. Para esta lectura tomamos como base, así como los conceptos críticos y teóricos relacionados con la estética literaria, también los estudios sobre la perversidad, crueldad e violencia, tales como “ A parte obscura de nós mesmos: uma história dos perver-
