Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian mineral tambahan pada ransum terhadap lingkar dada, panjang dan tinggi tubuh sapi bali jantan. Sebanyak 48 sampel sapi bali jantan umur 10-12 bulan, masing-masing diberikan empat jenis ransum mineral yang berbeda. Pengukuran lingkar dada, panjang dan tinggi tubuh sapi bali dilakukan pada awal perlakuan, 1, 2 dan 3 bulan setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian mineral pada pakan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap lingkar dada namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap panjang dan tinggi tubuh sapi bali jantan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian mineral dapat meningkatkan lingkar dada, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap panjang dan tinggi tubuh.
