Abstract
A partir de uma conceituação de ambiente oferecida pelos geógrafos Milton Santos e Aziz Ab'Saber, o artigo propõe, para que se possa chegar à construção intencional do futuro um novo paradigma científico transdisciplinar: a Ciência Ambiental prospectiva. Tal paradigma deveria possibilitar relacionar, em seus projetos de conhecimento e intervenção, ciência, filosofia, história e política, configurando para a Psicologia Ambiental como objeto de estudo as relações entre a subjetividade humana e a consciência ambiental, na história e na geografia.
